We have built up capabilities here, for both properly and casualty risks, which cover all major exposures, including blow outs, oil spills and refinery incidents, onshore and offshore construction risks, integrated loss mitigation and advanced loss of profits.

Our role can include:

  • Working closely with clients to verify insurance arrangements and monitor projects prior to commencement.
  • Advising clients and their policyholders on risk management and claims issues throughout the lifetime of the project or account.
  • Investigation and negotia- tion of claims arising to the satisfaction of all interested parties.


We have dedicated oil and gas specialists located throughout the organization, so we can respond quickly wherever our services are needed. Our team includes qualified adjusters with experience in handling all relevant risk exposures.

In the energy sector we have a team that has handled significant market exposures in both properly and casualty sectors.

Our energy team is particularly experienced in relation to blow-outs and refinery incidents, onshore and offshore construction risks, and has built up a high level of expertise in integrated loss mitigation, with a major emphasis on financial losses. The team has adjusted a number of claims for Advanced Loss of Profits and Loss of Profits claims in all regions of the world.

In the casualty sector we have handled some of the major oil spills around the globe; our EPCS team specializes in major multi-claimant incidents and regularly run test incidents for the world’s largest oil companies. We have developed unique databases for the analysis of costs associated with clean-ups and these are fully web enabled.

These significant capabilities are available to all our Global operations in view of the unique nature of the market. Our clients include the mutual fund industry individual corporations either via their captives or other risk transfer, major carriers and reinsures.
