Members of this team have a marine engineering or mechanical engineering background complemented by master mariners and naval architects. Many have been closely connected with developments in the offshore oil and gas industry and international project cargo policies extending to construction and commissioning of plants.

We provide a wide range of hull and machinery services, including:

    - Inland navigation vessels: tug boats, pontoons, dredgers

    - Seagoing vessels: merchant ships, fishing vessels, floating cranes, supply vessels

    - Land-based equipment contai- ners, semi-trailers, trailers, hoisting cranes, earth-moving plant and pile driving equipment

  • Marine casualty investigation
  • Condition surveys for all types of vessels' and ships' equipment
  • Nautical and technical aspects of general average claims, collisions, and salvage awards

Subrogation and Recovery Services

Subrogation and recovery services are an integral part of the successful adjustment of marine and transportation losses. We are routinely involved in identifying and pursuing avenues of subrogation and recovery, and offer a variety of options to meet the unique needs of each client.

Marine Services

Hull and machinery, collision, P & I surveys, on hire — off hire, project cargo, heavy lifts, container and contents, goods in transit and condition surveys.

Marine Vessels

Ships, mobile drilling units, jack ups, drill barges, semi-submersibles, crane barges, pipe lay barges, marine equipment damage, mooring systems, project equipment, SBMISPMICALM buoys, floating production storage offshore, supply vessels, standby vessels, ROV equipment and sub-sea.

Post and Terminals

Terminal facilities, berthing claims, jetty damage, dockyard claims, civil works, cranes and equipment, stevedores’ liability and terminal operator’s liability.
