The Engineering Division comprises a team of professionally qualified engineers
from various disciplines.
The broad and balanced spectrum of engineering disciplines includes Mechanical,
Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum and Marine. They are all well placed to understand
the key engineering aspects of a risk by virtue of their industrial and insurance
experience.
Establishing the root cause of losses on complex processing units often requires
detailed analysis of the events. Crawford’s Engineers have extensive experience in
this field and also make use of outside consultants when necessary.
The extent of damage and scope of reinstatement often requires detailed discussions
between engineers and Crawford’s Engineering staff are best placed to conduct these
assessments.
The Engineers produce accurate, concise and timely reports for Insurers, Brokers
and in-house Adjusters.
